Obituary of Aaron Warren Wilbur Hancock Canal Aaron W. Wilbur AKA Jack (Mouse) Battalio, 69, a resident of Bear Lake Rd., Hancock, died Saturday morning July 21, 2007, at his home following a 8 month battle with cancer. He was born on January 28, 1938, in Deerpark, Wisconsin, a son of June (Amundson) Koski and the late Carroll Wilbur. As a child he attended the local schools. Mr. Wilbur was a veteran having served with the United States Navy. On November 25, 1966 he was united in marriage to the former Christina Hoglund. Aaron had worked as a Machinist for Hunters Point Navel Ship Yard and for the City of San Francisco, CA, retiring in 2001 when he moved to make his home on Bear Lake Rd. Jack loved living in his home on Bear Lake Rd., operating heavy equipment, watching NAASCAR, and the strategy & speed of the Tour De France. Preceding him in death was his father and a sister. Surviving are: His wife: Christina M. Wilbur of Bear Lake Rd. His mother: June Koski a resident of Anttila's Adult Foster Care in Hubbell His Sister: Mary (William) Lepisto Sr. of Hancock His brothers: Mike (Judy) Battalio of San Bernardino, CA Bill Koski of Coal Dock Rd., Hancock Several nieces & nephews A graveside service for Jack will take place at a later time in the Waasau Cemetery.
