Aggie also resided in the Forest Park Apartments in Houghton, before becoming a resident patient of the Houghton County Medical Care facility. While Aggie resided in Painesdale, she and her husband operated the Painesdale Texaco for 12 years. She pumped gas, fixed flat tires, changed oil……all duties of a gas station proprietor. Mrs. Rozich was a very active member of the Holy Family Church of South Range. She enjoyed playing Bingo and was an avid Detroit Tiger and Red Wing fan. The latter was solidified when she met Gordie Howe at the Red Wing function in the South Range Community Hall. As a young woman, Aggie played fast pitch softball and was an outstanding pitcher.
