Obituary of Anne Jukkara Hancock/Bootjack Anne Jukkara, 96, a former resident of Hancock and Bootjack passed away Saturday afternoon November 3, 2012, at the Portage Hospital in Hancock where she had been a patient for four days. She was born on December 22, 1915, in Atlantic Mine, a daughter of the late Henry and Alina (Siipola) Moilanen. Anne was raised in the Atlantic Mine and Osceola areas. During her working years, Anne resided in the Detroit area where she would work cleaning homes. In her retirement, she moved with her son to reside in Hancock during the winters and summered in Bootjack. Preceding her in death, where her son Eugene Jukkara, her parents and all of her siblings. Surviving are: 5 nephews and 1 niece A special friend: Marie Kangas A memorial service for Anne will be held 11 am Friday June 21, 2013 at the Chapel Funeral Home of Hancock with L.L.M. Clay Hilman to officiate. Burial will be in the Atlantic Mine Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday June 21, 2013 from 10 am until time of services at the Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Hancock.
