Ashlee Harvey

CoburntownAshlee H. Harvey, 38, a resident of Coburntown, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, January 24, 2022 at her home.She was born in Hancock, MI on June 9, 1983, the daughter of Ruth Richard and the late David Harvey, Sr. She was raised locally and attended Hancock Schools, Houghton Schools and graduated from Lake Linden High School with the class of 2002. Ashlee attended Finlandia University for one year and then attended Gogebic Community College where she received her Certified Nurses Assistant certificate.Ashlee had a passion for photography, taking many beautiful pictures of family and nature. She enjoyed gardening and canning her home-grown veggies. She had a love for the outdoors especially in Copper Harbor. She avidly camped, biked, rock-picked, snowshoed and cared for her animals. Her true love was her family. Ashlee was always either smiling or laughing.Preceding her in death are her father, her sisters Gina and Jennifer Belopavlovich, her grandparents, and her childrens grandfather Rick Strieter.She is survived by her children: Isaiah, Nathan, and Sophie Strieter Her boyfriend of 23 years and father of her children, Neil Strieter Her mother Ruth Richard Her brother Clayton Harvey The childrens grandmother Gloria StrieterAshlee is further survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.A private memorial service will be held at a later date.To leave online condolences, please visit www.memorialchapel.net.The Memorial Chapel Funeral & Cremation Service of Hancock is assisting the family with the arrangements.
