Bruce E. Dulong, 77, a resident of Ripley, passed away Thursday, July 24, 2025, at Canal View -- Houghton County, where he had been a patient for the past two weeks.

He was born on January 26, 1948, in Hancock, a son of the late Norman and Elsie (Talso) Dulong. Bruce was raised in Hancock and attended the Hancock Schools.

On December 30, 1967, he was united in marriage to the former Merle Provost. For the past 40 years they have resided in Ripley.

Mr. Dulong had worked for various companies in the area as a maintenance person. He enjoyed time outdoors hunting and fishing. He was a Detroit Lions football fan.

His wife Merle Dulong of Ripley

His children: Bruce (Laura) Dulong Jr. and Tina (Tom) Tesluk

His grandchildren: Cari Grant

His great grandchildren: Caiden and Vincent

His siblings: Norman (Delores) Dulong, Helen Kaipio, David Dulong, and Sandy Maki

His furry Partner Maci

Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins

As requested a private graveside service will take place in the Lakeside Cemetery of Hancock at a later time.
