Obituary of Carol Zenner MRS HurontownCarol J. Zenner, 68, a resident of Hurontown passed away Thursday evening February 27, 2014, at the Marquette General Hospital following a lengthy illness.She was born on May 31, 1945, in Hancock, a daughter of the late Walter and Ethel (Lampinen) Korpinen. Carol was raised in Atlantic Mine, Hancock and South Range. She graduated with honors from Jeffers High School.On February 8, 1964, she was united in marriage to Frederick M. Zenner. Since that time they have resided in Hurontown where they raised three children.Mrs. Zenner was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church of Houghton. As a young lady, Carol worked for South Range State Bank, Jims II, the Ambassador Restaurant and retired from the deli department of Econo Foods.. Carol was an excellent cook and seamstress, but baking was her specialty. She once was named Baker of the Year for Michigan.
