Obituary of Christopher Marchese Chassell Christopher David Marchese, aged 60, passed away unexpectedly on July 14th, 2018 in Chassell, MI. He was the husband of Linda Marchese (Harkonen), sharing 25 years of marriage together. Born in Detroit, MI., to Sam and Matilda Marchese, brother to John, Sam, Joseph and David, he was brought into this world and quickly became a member of a Little Rascals group of neighborhood boys that he remained in close contact with throughout his life. Always having a strong, independent personality, living by the beat of his own drum, he touched those around him in ways that brought laughter, love and sparks of joy. A painter by trade, but an artist for life, he was able to take the most random objects and create beautiful, memorable pieces of furniture for his loved ones. He is survived by his spouse, Linda Marchese (Harkonen), his mother Matilda Marchese (Zubrowski), brothers John and Joseph Marchese, his daughter Alicia (Christopher) Stewart, step-daughters Amy (Jason) Tustin and Jennifer Wilson, and his grandchildren Alaina, Cade, Preston, Maxim, Grayson, Levon and Axl. There will be a private prayer service held at the Memorial Chapel in Hancock, MI, at a later time with Fr. John Martignon to lead.
