South RangeClarence Arvid Raasio, 83, passed away on September 1, 2021 at his home in South Range.Clarence was born on November 3, 1937 to Arvid and Nelma (Pelto) Raasio in Franklin Township. He spent a lot of his early years in and out of hospitals until moving to the Stanton House in South Range in 1984. Once there, Clarence began to enjoy his life. He liked all of the outings, picnics and celebrations he was able to be a part of. Clarence loved a nice long walk in nature. He was a real meat and potatoes man and really enjoyed a good hearty meal. Big holiday feasts were a favorite. He loved relaxing in his recliner and enjoyed a good nap. He was a private person and enjoyed his quiet and private time.Clarence was well loved at the Stanton House and received excellent care there. He is already missed by his friends and the staff.Preceding him in death are his parents.
