Obituary of Clayton Isaacson Hancock Clayton "Ike" Isaacson,70, a resident of Elevation Street, Hancock, passed away Monday evening, September 22, 2003, at his home following a battle with Cancer. He was born on July 22, 1933, in Hancock, and was a graduate of the Hancock schools. He later lived in Highland Park, then Hancock, Detroit, and returned to make his home in Hancock following his retirement. Ike had first worked for Precision Spring, then the Hancock Police Department from 1957 till 1965, and for G.M. Security until his retirement. He was a veteran of the United States Army. On September 1, 1956, he was united in marriage to the former Laura Bender. He was a member of the First Apostolic Lutheran Church of Houghton, and the Ranger's Post #6165 V.F.W. of South Range. Burial to be in the Lakeside Cemetery in Hancock. Friends may call on Thursday from 3 to 8 P.M. at the Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Hancock, and for 1 hour prior to services at the church on Friday. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family suggests memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
