Obituary of Cylde Ylitalo Obenhoff Clyde E. Ylitalo, 57, a resident of Obenhoff, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday evening, June 30, 2004, at the Marquette General Hospital, where he had been admitted a short time before. He was born in the Liminga area, a son of the late Erick and Edna (Westerberg) Ylitalo, and attended the Liminga school. He later resided in Detroit,; Ontonagon; Boston, Mass.; Nebraska; and for the last 18 years had made his home in the Obenhoff area. Clyde was known as a "Good Man in the Woods", and as "Super Clyde" having been employed by the Durocher Logging Concern for a number of years. He was preceded in death by a son, Weldon and his parents. Surviving are; his wife, the former Jean Brady whom he married on March 24, 1980 1 Step Daughter; Carol (Brady) Garber of Paris, Illinois 2 Step Sons Twins; Donny (Michele) Cronkright of Bruce Crossing Ronny (Tracy) Cronkright of Trout Creek 10 Grandchildren 1 Sister; Geri (William) Zieker of Stockton, CA Numerous nieces, nephews, & cousins. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 6, 2004, at 1:30 P.M. in the Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Hancock, with Rev. Kenneth Toth to officiate. Burial to be in the Liminga Cemetery.
