Daniel Gagnon

Franklin Township Daniel Jesse Gagnon, 40, a resident of Franklin Township unexpectedly passed away Saturday January 1, 2022, at his home. He was born on November 21, 1981, in Marquette, MI, the son of Daniel and Nancy (Peltola) Gagnon. Jesse was raised in Dollar Bay and was a graduate of the Dollar Bay High School with the class of 1999. He then attended Michigan Technological University. Mr. Gagnon had worked a variety of jobs such as a construction laborer for his father business and most recently as a delivery person for Pizza Works. Jesses always had a huge heart and was always thinking of others and was known to have gifts for friends and any given time. He was a gifted musician and was happy to share his gift with others. He also enjoyed skateboarding and snowboarding. Preceding Jesse in death were his Paternal grandparents Alvin and June Gagnon and his maternal grandfather, Kenneth Peltola. Surviving are: His father: Daniel Joseph Gagnon of Franklin TownshipHis mother: Nancy Kinnett of Park Falls, WIHis sisters: Jodi Hella of Birch Bay, WA Fawn (Tim) Lucero of Lake Linden His maternal grandmother: E. Ellen Peltola of L'Anse Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins A memorial service for Jesse will be held at a later time.
