Obituary of Levi Brezee MR Houghton Canal Levi Brezee, 25 years old, of Stanton Township, Houghton Canal, went to be with the Lord, February 16th, 2014. Levi graduated from Chelsea High School in 2006. He attended Central Michigan University on a football scholarship for one year. He then transferred to Michigan Technological University, and then to Washtenaw Community College. He was a Certified Master Mechanic, and a certified Wilderness EMT.He worked at Isle Royale National Park as a Heavy Mobile Equipment Mechanic, and as an on-call EMT. He was currently attending Gogebic Community College, planning on becoming a Registered Nurse.He was loved by all who knew him. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and farming. He loved animals, and participated in the Chelsea Community Fair, and Washtenaw County 4-H. He will be greatly missed by all, including his dogs, Loki and Kali.Levi is survived by his parents, Shane and Delphine (Dorvinen) Brezee, his brother Seth, and sister Rebecca, of Chelsea, MI; his paternal grandparents, Daryl and Marlene Brezee, of Metamora, MI; and his maternal grandmother, Sophie Evelyn Perreault, of Houghton, MI; his uncles, Daryl L (Christina) Brezee, of Cross Plains, WI; Edward (Micki) Dorvinen, of Manitowoc, WI; Dale Dorvinen, of Harvard, IL; Daniel Dorvinen, of Calumet, MI; David Dorvinen, of Hancock, MI; Andy (Lora) Perreault, of Blasdell, NY; Jeff Perreault, of Laurium, MI; his aunts, Michelle (Martin) Pietras, of Columbiaville, MI; Beverly (Neal) Martindale, of Redford, MI; Dawna (Harold) Behrendt, of Houghton, MI; Diana (Dale) Eddy, of Flint, MI; and Marian (Bob) Kleibusch, of Belmont, MI; as well as numerous cousins.Funeral services for Levi will be held 11 am Saturday March 1, 2014, at the Memorial Chapel funeral Home of Hancock with Pastor Dominic Aquilino to officiate.
