David Autio

South Range

David Karl Autio ,63, died unexpectedly in his home in South Range on December 15th,

2024 from a heart attack.

David graduated from Jeffers in 1980. He was an accomplished artist, member of the

national guard and motorcycle enthusiast. He also doubled as call-in radio personality

Random Guy winning over the hearts of many listeners. During his career as a chef he helped

shape the menus and procedures of many local restaurants and will be missed by many people

in the industry. The last chapter of his life was spent dedicated to his parents and providing

them with care they needed.

David was survived by his father, Milton Autio, his siblings; Dawn, Alan ,Susan, and Peter, his

children; Justin, Seth and Tony, his nieces and nephews; Travis, Katie, Kyle , Martti, Maija, and

so many more people that cared for him.
