Obituary of Dennis Foreman MR Hancock Dennis F. Foreman Sr., 50, a resident of Hancock passed away Friday evening February 21, 2014, at the Portage Hospital following a lengthy battle with cancer.He was born on September 26, 1963, in Laurium, a son of Kay (Lahti) Foreman and the late Francis Foreman.Dennis was raised in Hubbell and was a graduate of the Lake Linden High School with the class of 1981. He then attended Northern Michigan University.Dennis lived a free life and was able to reside in various parts of Michigan and the United States. For the past 20 years he has made his home in the Copper Country. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing, berry picking, gardening and spending time with his family and friends.Preceding him in death were his son Andrew, his father Francis, his granddaughter, Faith, his paternal grandparents Willard & Mary Foreman, and his maternal grandparents, Clarence & Martha Lahti.Surviving are: His mother: Kay Kerttu His children: Nathan Foreman, Dennis (Krystan) Foreman Jr., Crystal Rose Foreman, & Rylee ForemanHis grandchildren: Nathan Jr., Lily, Jack & John ForemanHis life partner: Lisa KinnunenHis step-children: Brandon PeltoAshley KinnunenHis granddaughter: Sophia NicholeHis brothers: Bruce (Sherri) ForemanBrian Foreman His sister: Krisanna (Andrew) McKellarSeveral nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts & uncles A memorial service for Dennis will be held 1 pm Friday February 28, 2014, at the Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Hancock with Pastor David Whitaker to officiate.
