Obituary of Donald Isaacson Klingville Donald J. "Donny Bar" Isaacson, 79, a resident of Klingville passed away Monday morning May 25, 2009, at his home following a short illness. He was born on May 20, 1930, in Trimountain, a son of the late Matthew and Agnes (Auno) Isaacson. As a child, he attended the South Range School. Don had also resided in Baltic and Calumet before moving to make his home in Klingville. On October 23, 1969 he was united in marriage to Lucille Cardinal and she preceded him in death in 1994. Don had worked in the woods as a logger and then in the construction industry. Mr. Isaacson had attended Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Chassell and was a member of F.O.E. Aerie #1122 of South Range. He loved dancing, polka music and most of all people. Preceding him in death were his wife, his parents, and a brother Kenneth. Surviving are: His best friend & dance partner: Bernice Maki of Klingville His step-children: Earl (Artess) Prosser of Flint Gene (Nancy) Prosser of Springfield, IL His step-grandson: Marten Prosser of Chicago, IL His sisters: Dorothy (Ray) Luoto of Painesdale Shirley LaPage of Detroit Several nieces & nephews A memorial service for Donald will be held 11 am Saturday May 30, 2009, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Chassell with Rev. Bucky Beach to officiate.
