Edward M. Burger

Edward Burger, a resident of Gay, Michigan, died on Monday, May 4, 2026, following a short illness.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Burger; his brother, Anthony Burger (Donna) of Solon Springs, Wisconsin; and his children: Andrea Gresser (Jack) of Eagan, Minnesota; Christopher Burger (Staci) of Hubbard Lake, Michigan; and Timothy Burger of Menifee, California.

Edward was a proud grandfather to Caleb, Hannah, Carter, Mitchell, Samantha, Jonathon, and RaeLynn, all of whom brought him great joy.

He will be remembered for his dedication to his family and the lasting impact he made on those who knew and loved him.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Edward will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church in Houghton, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m.
