Eleanor Irene Kangas

Eleanor Irene Kangas was born August 1st, 2025 in Marquette, Michigan. She is God's own and he took her to heaven on September 22nd, 2025 at the age of seven weeks. Her time here was short but she was loved and touched the hearts of many.

Eleanor is survived by her parents, Tyler and Abby (Hallstrom) Kangas of South Range, Michigan. Her maternal grandparents; Nathan and Jana (Tikka) Hallstrom and their children Evangeline, Sally, Tia, Arionna, Cambrie, Marita, Gregory, Tarrin, Joe and Jude of Winlock, Washington, paternal grandparents; Daniel and Kari (Divine) Kangas and their children Leah (Wade) Schoenborn, Matthew (Elise) Kangas and Maija Kangas of Hancock, Michigan; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Eleanor was born six weeks early and spent the first two weeks of her life in the NICU. There were not many that had the chance to meet her but we can only hope and pray that we can all meet her in heaven.

A funeral service for Eleanor will be held on Saturday, September 27, at 11:00 am at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church at 1501 N. Elevation St. Hancock, MI.

Burial will be in the Oskar Cemetery. A visitation will be held Friday, September 26, from 6pm to 8pm, and 1 hour before the funeral on Saturday at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church of Hancock.
