Erland Narhi

Obituary of Erland Narhi Chassell Erland D. Narhi, 63, a resident of Lakeshore Drive, Chassell, passed away, Wednesday, May 11, 2005, at the Marquette General Hospital in Marquette where he was a patient since April 24, 2005. He was born in Portage Twp, on February 23, 1942, a son of the late Sulo and Sophie (Belttari) Narhi and later lived in Painesdale, Streamwood, Ill., and for the past 2 years in Chassell. He was a graduate of M.T.U., with the Class of 1970, as a Mechanical Engineer. Erland was a veteran having served with the United States Army. On Nov. 4, 1967, he was united in marriage to the former Betty Austin in Painesdale, He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter-in-law; Darla Narhi. Surviving are: his wife, Betty 1 Son: Michael Narhi of Bartlett, Ill. 2 Daughters: Mrs. Kathy (Brian) Schreiner of Bartlett, Ill. Ted Koehl to officiate. Burial to be in the Chassell Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 11 A.M. until time of services.
