Obituary of Estelle Riutta Painesdale, MIEstelle M. Riutta, 74, a resident of Painesdale passed away Saturday morning July 20, 2013, following a lengthy illness.She was born on April 8, 1939, in Hancock a daughter of the late Theodore and Esther (Haurunan) Lahti. As a child, she attended the local schools and then Soumi College.Estelle had resided in Hancock, the Detroit area, and for most of her life in Painesdale. Estelle loved to spend time at the family cottage at Twin Lakes.Preceding her in death were her infant son Robert Greg, her son Theodore, her daughter Marina E. Giannelli-Sirekis, along with her parents.Surviving are her children:Kathleen Cleary, Wanda Anderson, April (John) Schoeninger, Richard Mark Riutta and Ward Riutta. 10 Grandchildren, Sasha Anderson, Alanna (Joe) Sweeney, Dustin Peterson, William (Andrea) Schoeninger, Wade Serikis, Sierra Serikis, Kylie Cleary, Bryana Riutta, Greg Cleary and Tianna Schoeninger. 6 great grandchildren, Aiva Sweeney, Patience Griggs , Keira Sweeney, Billy Griggs, Faith Cleary and John Schoeninger.
