Obituary of Flora Chronowski Hancock Flora Chronowski, 88, a former resident of the Bluffs Senior Living Community in Houghton passed away Tuesday evening April 17, 2018, at the Medora House of Portage Pointe in Hancock where she had been residing for the past five years. She was born on July 15, 1929, in Detroit, MI, a daughter of the late Vincent and Sophia (Woloszyn) Bury. Flora was raised in the Detroit area where she graduated from Chadsey High School. On August 28, 1954, she was united in marriage to Thadeus Ted Chronowski. The couple resided in St. Clair Shores, MI and raised five children together. Flora and her husband were founding members of St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church of St. Clair Shores. She enjoyed visiting and laughing with family and friends. Preceding her in death were her husband; Ted, her sons; Daniel and Michael, and her sisters Stella Ostrowski and Jessie Paris. Surviving are: Her children: Stasi (Dick) Gray of Houghton Larry Chronowski of Dearborn Heights, MI David (Christine) Chronowski of Harrison Township, MI Her daughter-in-law: Kecia Chronowski of Marco Island, FL Her grandchildren; Ryan (Kathryn), Dana (Eric), and Meghan, Caleb and Cole Chronowski, Courtney (Terren)Spencer, and great-grandchildren Mary and Daniel and Mayleigh and Dean. Her sister: Wanda Kroporniski of the Detroit area Numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Flora will be held 10 am May 12, 2018, at St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church of St. Clair Shores, MI, 21201 12 Mile Road, St. Clair Shores, MI. Friends may call on May 12, 2018, from 9:30 am until time of mass at the church.
