Obituary of Gudrun Emma Holstein Arnheim Gudrun Emma Holstein, 74, a resident of Arnheim passed away Wednesday morning August 29, 2018, following a short illness. She was born on August 24, 1944, in Esslingten, Germany, a daughter of the late Johann and Hilda (Balz) Heilig. Following graduation from Herderschule School Gudrun had worked in a factory before moving to make her home in the United State, first in North Carolina and then Massachusetts. She then returned to Germany before making her home in Arnheim for the past five years with her sister. Preceding her in death were her parents, her son George and sisters, Irene, Brigitte and Ursela; and her brother-in-law: Rudy Mattson Surviving are: Her sons: Frank (Veronica) Heilig of Germany Patrick (Satya) Heilig of Florida Her granddaughter and 4 great grandchildren Her sisters: Rosemarie Mattson of Arnheim Brunhilde Woolsey of Germany Her brother: Wilfred (Ursela) Heilig of Germany Several nieces, nephews and cousins To view Emmas obituary or to send condolences to the family please visit www.memorialchapel.net.
