Obituary of Harold Forsell Hancock Harold Forsell, 89, a resident of Hancock, died unexpectedly, March 24, 2008, at his home. He was born in Hancock on September 19, 1918, a son of Hilma and Otto Forsell. He was a graduate of the Hancock High School, Class 1938. Harold served in the U.S. Navy in the World War II era. He was on the Boy Scout Committee of Troop 203 in the 1960's decade. He was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church of Hancock. Harold was predeceased by his parents, six brothers Evert, Ernest, Arthur, Richard, frank, and William and a sister Martha Coburn. His working years extended from the depression era to the 1980's. His last employment was at M.T.U. from where he retired in April 1984. Surviving are: His wife of 60 years, Irene Taskila Forsell A son James (Karen) Forsell of San Rafael, California A daughter Janine (William) Bourassa of Rockford, Michigan Four grandchildren: Sara and Erik Forsell and Jaime and Aron Bourassa Nieces & nephews survive Two cousins in Finland A sister-in-law Jean Larson also survives. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday March 28, 2008, in the Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Hancock. Private family services will be held at the Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Hancock on Saturday March 29, 2008, with Licensed Lay Minister Clay Hilman to officiate.
