Obituary of Helen Mikesch Hancock Mrs. Helen T. Mikesch, 92 of Hancock, a resident of Portage Pointe, died at Portage Hospital in Hancock on Sunday, February 26, 2012, following a short illness.She was born in Hancock on August 17, 1919, a daughter of the late Eric and Johanna (Klujala) Lundy.She was married to Clayton Mikesch in 1939 and they raised their family in Hancock. She is survived by her five children, William (Cleoda) Mikesch of DesMoines, Iowa; Robert (Suzanne) Mikesch of Hancock, Virginia Gute of West Lafayette, Ohio; Joanne (Paul) Armistead of Oak Forest, Illinois; and Sandra (Matt) Shafer of Okauchee, Wisconsin. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her former husband three sisters and a brother.Helen was dearly loved by her children and grandchildren and will be greatly missed. Her happiest times were with everyone at the summer cottage.He was a member of the Hancock Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
