Hilia Reini

Obituary of Hilia E. Reini Tamarack City Hilia E. Reini, 86, a resident of Tamarack City and former Limerick Location resident passed away Monday evening October 31, 2005, at the portage Health Systems Hospital where she had been a patient for the past 13 days. She was born on April 16, 1919, in Quincy Location a daughter of the late August and Betty (Fiske) Reini. Hilia was a graduate of the Hancock High School with the class of 1938. Ms. Reini was a proud veteran having served with the United States Navy, and with the United States Naval Reserve for 20 years. In her professional life Hilia had worked at Michigan Technological University as an executive Secretary. Hilia's love of animals will always be remembered by all that knew her. Preceding her in death were her parents, 1 Sister: Saimie Bolan; and 3 Brothers: William, Waino, and Arvid Reini. Surviving are: 1 Sister: Martha Narhi of Tamarack City 1 Brother: Eino (Stella) Reini of Warren, MI Numerous Nieces and Nephews Funeral services for Hilia will be held this Friday November 4, 2005, at 1 P.M. in the Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Hancock with Rev. Jimalee Jones to officiate. Burial will be in the Lakeside Cemetery in Hancock. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Friday from 11 A.M. until time of services.
