Inga Dormanen

Obituary of Inga Marie Dormanen Inga Marie Dormanen, 93, of Dollar Bay, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2011, at PortagePointe in Hancock, where she had been a resident for 5 days. She was born on June 3, 1917, in St. Louis County, MN, the daughter of Arvid and Johanna Nelson. On March 11, 1939, she married Everett R. Dormanen from Gackle, North Dakota, and they lived most of their married life in Michigan. He preceded her in death on Sept. 11, 1998. Also preceding Inga in death were her parents, a sister, Signe Junglas; 3 brothers, Harold, George and John Nelson; a daughter-in-law, Anna Dormanen, and a son-in-law, Sid Collins. Surviving are her children, Dennis Dormanen of Westland; Jeanne Lipka of Hancock; Judy (Gerald) Erickson of Dollar Bay; Linda Collins of Hancock; Phyllis Serman of Plymouth; Deanna (Bruce) Bell Yacolt, WA; a brother, Robert of Duluth, MN. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2011, at 11 A.M. at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church in Hancock with Ronald Jouppe officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 29, 2011, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church in Hancock and also one hour prior to services on Wednesday at the church.
