James Silvola

Obituary of James Donald Silvola Chassell James D. Silvola a resident of Hancock, St., Chassell, passed away at his home on Saturday January 5, 2007, with his family by his side, after a courageous battle with cancer. Throughout the years Jim had worked for Petti-Bone Corporation of Baraga, Superior Block Company of Houghton, Gundlach Inc. of Houghton and A & L Fabricating of Dollar Bay. Jim has been retired for several years due to ill health. His grandchildren gave him great pleasure and he enjoyed spending time with them. Preceding him in death was a daughter Amy, a brother Gerald, his parents and his maternal and paternal grandparents. Surviving are: His longtime loving companion; Marcia Silvola His three daughters: Lynn (Craig) Fish of Laurium Kristine (Bill) Daniels of Grand Rapids Crystal (Michael) Bragagnini of Mattawan His three sons: Mark (Cassey) Silvola of Florence, KY James Silvola of Chassell Scott Silvola of Jackson, MI His brother: Michael Silvola of Liminga 11 grandchildren 1 great grandchild Funeral services for James will be Thursday January 10, 2008, at 2 p.m. at the Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Chassell with Rev. Bucky Beach to officiate. Spring burial will be in the Pelkie Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday January 10, 2008, at the Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Chassell from 1 p.m. until of services.
