Jean E. Parrish, 66, a resident of Dollar Bay passed away Sunday, July 10, 2022, at the UP-Health Systems - Portage Hospital in Hancock where she had been a patient.
She was born on October 11, 1955, in Dollar Bay, a daughter of the late Lewis and Estelle (Smith) Paredes. Jean was raised in Dollar Bay and Brighton, MI, while she attended school.
Following school, Jean made her home in Dollar Bay. Jean had worked various jobs in the area and had tended bar at Partanen’s for many years.
On July 30, 2009, Jean was united in marriage to Thomas Parrish. The couple made their home in Dollar Bay. On June 14, 2018, Tom preceded Jean in death.
Also, preceding Jean in death were 3 brothers.

Her children: Meredith (Brian) Winning of Beaver Dam, WI
Kyle Paredes of Houghton
Kevin Paredes of Beaver Dam, WI
Her granddaughters: Maia & Aleigha
Her sister: Kristine Green of Howell, MI
Several nieces, nephews and cousins
A time to remember Jeanne will be held Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at the Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Hancock from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm.
