Obituary of John Wells Chassell John Durham Wells, son of George and Grace Pearl Wells passed suddenly but peacefully in his sleep early Sunday morning September, 28, 2014 at age70. John graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a triple degree in Math, Political Science and English and then received a Juris Doctorate in Law at Harvard. His career began at the White House and included work on the Apollo 8 Space Program. From there, he became a consultant for Temple, Barker and Sloan. He also built a business in sailboat rental/tours in Annapolis and the US Virgin Islands. Later, John taught Special Education in a Middle School and Real-estate Law at the Northern Virginia Community College. His favorite position was as a CEO for the US Railway Association.
