Obituary of Joseph R. Mlasko Chassell Joseph R. Mlasko, 86, a resident of Lakeshore Dr., Chassell, passed away Sunday evening April 16, 2006, at the Portage Health Systems Hospital shortly after being admitted, following a several month illness. He was born on January 12, 1920, in Ironwood, MI a son of the late Anton and Sara Mlasko. Joseph was a graduate of the Ironwood schools. On July 14, 1952 he was united in marriage to the former Viola Kemppainen. Preceding him in death were his parents, 3 Sisters: Agnes Lampart, Angeline Siklich, and Jean Hacht, and 1 Brother: Tony Mlasko Surviving are: His wife Viola Mlasko of Chassell 1 Daughter: Debra Larson of West Branch, MI 4 Sons: Joseph (Betty) Mlasko of Cedar Park, TX Jerry Mlasko of Toledo, OH Jeff (Brenda) Mlasko of West Branch, MI Jack Mlasko of California 1 Sister: Anne Trask of Camarillo, CA Several Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces, and Nephews. A private prayer service for Joe will be held this Wednesday April 19, 2006, in the Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Chassell with Fr. Tom Schmied to officiate.
