Obituary of Joyce Beuchamp Dodgeville Joyce M. Beauchamp, 73, a former resident of Dodgeville, passed away Monday afternoon September 12, 2011, at Our Lady of Mercy Convalescent Home in Hubbell where she had been a resident patient for the past four years. She was born on October 29, 1937, a daughter of the late George Levi and Helma Mary (Gilbertson) Sell. She attended the Ashland High School and then later married David T. Beauchamp Sr. "Mucka" of Dodgeville on July 7, 1956. He preceded her in death on February 15, 2007. During the seventies and eighties, Joyce fostered many children awaiting adoption and loved what she did. She later went on to work as a housekeeper and kitchen helper at Ashland Health Care, formerly St. Joseph's Hospital (Portage Health) and Our Lady of Mercy in Hubbell. Preceding her in death were her husband, Mucka, her parents, her brothers Raymond, Rubin, and Edgar. Surviving are: Her children: David Beauchamp Jr. of Lake Linden William Beauchamp of Lake Linden Her grandchildren: Jessica Beauchamp of Menominee Rachel (Mark) Kerttu of Lake Linden Rick (Holly) Hanner of Virginia Her great grandchildren: Ryan Kerttu, Morgan Kerttu, Marcus Kerttu, McKenzie Hanner & Brittney Hanner Her brothers: Jerry (Donna) Sell of Ashland Larry Sell of California Several nieces & nephews, including Susie (Mark) Stevens, Jessie Stevens, & Shelby Stevens A Memorial Mass of Christian burial for Joyce will be held 11:00 Friday September 16, 2011 at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church of Houghton with Fr. John Martignon to officiate. Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery of Houghton.
