Obituary of Julie Christian HANCOCKMrs. Julie Ann (Baakko) Christian, age 53, a former Hancock resident, passed away unexpectedly on October 8, 2011 at her home in Muskegon.She was born on March 17, 1958 to James and Shirley (Archambeau) Baakko in Hancock and moved to Muskegon from Colorado in 2000. On April 4, 1987 she married John J. Christian.Julie worked for Acme Tree Service in Muskegon as the office manager.Surviviors include her family whom she dearly loved; her best friend and husband, John; 2 sons, Specialist Nathaniel (Elizabeth) Machowski of Fort Leonardwood, MO, Daniel Machowski of Federal Heights, CO; a granddaughter, Kirsten Machowski; her father, James Baakko of Hancock; her mother, Shirley (Larry) Adams of Kingman, AZ; 2 brothers, Rory (Lori), Josh; 3 sisters, Tina, Lisa, Terry (Mike); several nieces and nephews.Funeral Services were held held in Muskegon, MI.Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, May 18, 2012 at the Lakeside Cemetery in Hancock.The Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Hancock is assisting the family with the arrangements.Contributions in memory of Julie maybe made to the Wounded Warriors Foundation, P.O.
