Obituary of Kathleen Lahikainen KATHLEEN LAHIKAINEN Kathy passed away on Wednesday April 4th, 2018. She was born in Brawley, California in 1948 on July 20th. Kathy worked as an X-Ray Tech for all of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard & Martha Korpi, her husband Charles Richard Taliaferro, and her sister Pamela (Peter) Vitas of Seaside, Oregon. She is survived by her husband Tom, of North Grosse Point Shores, her son Ken (Laura) Taliaferro of San Diego, California, and her sister Janice (Rick) Lawrence of Bend, Oregon, as well as her granddaughters Marlys & Amelia Taliaferro, her niece Stefanie (Ben) Jylkka, her nephew David (Kristen) Lawrence, and her niece Marta Lawrence. A celebration of her life will be held at her home in North Grosse Point Shores later this summer on a date TBD.
