Obituary of Kathleen Ouillette Ripley Kathleen M. (David) Ouillette, 64, a resident of Third St., Ripley, passed away early Thursday morning, June 22, 2006, at her home following a lengthy illness. The former Kathleen M. Miller was born on July 9, 1941, in Rochester, MI, a daughter of the late Emery & Charlotte (Moore) Miller. She resided for most of her lifetime in the Ripley area. Kathy enjoyed reading, and spending time at the North Shore area of the Keweenaw. She had formerly worked for the Calumet & Hecla Mining Company. She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church of Houghton. Preceding her in death were her parents. Surviving are: her husband, David 1 Son: Peter (Beth Adams-Ouillette) Ouillette of Ypsilanti, MI 2 Brothers: George (Elizabeth) Miller of South Haven, MI & Emery (Sandra) Miller of Sumter, S.C. Numerous nieces, nephews, & cousins. Memorial services will be held Monday, June 26, 2006, at 1 p.m. at the Grace United Methodist Church in Houghton, with Rev. Tom Anderson to officiate. The Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Hancock is serving the family. In Lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family suggests memorials be given to the Grace United Methodist Church of Houghton.
