Obituary of Kathleen Ann Seppala Hancock Kathleen Ann Seppala, 61, a resident of Atlantic St., Hancock, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2007, at the Omega House in Houghton following a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born March 7, 1946, in Hancock, a daughter of the late John and Mamie Seppala. Kathy attended local schools and graduated from the Hancock High School. She was employed at the Wickley Agency in Hancock. Preceding her in death were her parents, and several brother-in-laws. Surviving are six sisters, Betty Voldarski of Calumet; Helen (Oliver) Kainulainen of Neguanee; Mary (Roland) Burgan of Hancock, Alice Kolka of Chassell, Margie (Robert) Andrews of Ripley, and Sandra (George) Kilpela of Painesdale and numerous nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and cousins. At the request of the deceased there will be no visitation or funeral. The Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Hancock has been assisting the family with the arrangements.
