Obituary of Keith Kilpela Hancock Keith M. Kilpela, 25, a resident of Minnesota Street, Hancock, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, May 8, 2004, from natural causes. He was born on February 26, 1979, in Hancock a son of Paul M. and Marilyn (Juntunen) Kilpela. As an infant he moved from Mason to Hancock, where he has resided since that time. He was a graduate of the Hancock High School with the Class of 1998, and Gogebic Community College in 2002. Keith enjoyed Hunting & Fishing. He had worked as a Sales Associate for Keweenaw Petroleum Service Preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents and paternal grandfather. Keith was a member of the First Apostolic Lutheran Church of Houghton. Surviving are: his parents of Hancock 4 Sisters: Lori (Brent) Pennala of Negaunee Sherri (Scott) Storm of Liminga Mary (Steve) Koskela of Wakefield Christina Kilpela at home 4 Brothers: Paul E. (Christy) Kilpela of Fowlerville Lars (Bree) Kilpela of Houghton Travis Kilpela at home Kyle Kilpela at home His Paternal Grandmother: Mrs. Erma Kilpela of Hancock 9 nieces & nephews: Britney, Krisha, Tye, Jocie, Nate, Treven Devin, Kaydence, Lexi numerous Aunts, Uncles, & Cousins Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 12, 2004, at 11 A.M. in the First Apostolic Lutheran Church of Houghton with David Taivolkoski to officate. Burial to be in the Lakeside Cemetey in Hancock. Friends may call at the church from 3-8 P.M. on Tuesday and from 10 till 11 A.M. on Wednesday.
