Kenneth Leismer

Obituary of Kenneth Leismer Hancock Kenneth H. Leismer, 56, Architect, son of Elizabeth Anne Bossi Leismer and Stephen Leismer, died Monday, Nov., 3, 2003, Ken was a 1965 Graduate of the Traverse City High School and 1969 graduate of the University of Michgan School of Architecture. During his Career, Ken worked at Elzinga and Volkers in Holland, MI, Ford Motor Comapny in Dearborn, Ferris State University in Big Rapids, GBKB Traverse City and as an independent architect in the Traverse City and Houghton areas. Along with his passion for designing and overseeing commercial and residential construction projects, Ken enjoyed sailing and choral music. Ken's sailboat, Andante, was a regular sight on East Traverse Bay. Ken Sang with several church and community choirs, the university of Michigan's Men's Glee Club, the Holland Chorale and the Michigan Tech Concert Choir. Ken is survived by brothers Bill and Carl, both of Holland, MI A Memorial Service will be held at First Congregational Church of Traverse City, MI, on Friday Nov. 14, 2003, at 4 P.M.
