Obituary of Kenneth John Pesola EloKenneth J. Pesola, 78, a resident of the Rolling Meadows in Covington, passed away Sunday April 16, 2017, at home.He was born on December 23, 1938, in Hancock a son of the late Arvo and Lydia (Moilanen) Pesola. He attended the Doelle School as a young man.Ken then had delivered milk in the Elo area for a while.For over the last 20 years he has resided at Rolling Meadows (Covington Rest Home) in Covington, MI. Mr. Pesola enjoyed singing, playing the guitar and harmonica.Preceding him in death were his parents, his brothers: Raymond, Gordon (Sylvia), Arvo (Irene), Albert, Walter and Aale; and his sisters; Rosella (Arvo) Jalkanen, Ruth (Russell) Kemppainen, Maida (Ken) Torro and Shirley (Roy) Byykkonen; his brother-in-laws: Gordon Karsama and Gilbert Juntunen.Surviving are:His brother: Arnold (Sylvia) Pesola of TapiolaHis sisters: Helen Karsama a resident of the Bluffs Senior Living CommunityEsther Juntunen of TapiolaHis sisters-in-law: Helen Pesola of MarquetteFlorence Pesola of DodgevilleNumerous nieces, nephews and cousins.Funeral Services for Ken will be held 4 pm Thursday April 20, 2017, at the Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Hancock with Kenneth Storm to officiate.
