Obituary of Kristine Ruotsi Klingville Kristine Marie Ruotsi, 52, of Chassell passed away at her home with her family by her side on Monday April 19, 2010, ending her "journey" with cancer. Kristine was born on December 27, 1957, to Ardell and Vera Snell of Baltic, MI. She graduated from Jeffers High School. On February 28, 1976, she married John Robert Ruotsi and moved to Chassell. Kristine was a stay-at-home mom and raised seven children. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and often spent hours on her riding lawn mower. She loved being surrounded by her family and her dogs. She is survived by her husband, John; Seven Children, Angela (Chris) Arrington with their four children, Karah, Kallista, Jacinda, and Jayden of San Tan Valley, AZ; Jennifer (Rudy) Gemignani of Ogden, UT; John Ruotsi Jr. (fianc?, Kristina Glasson) of Chassell, MI; Cynthia Ruotsi (fianc?, Matthew McCormick) of Painesdale, MI; Jessica Ruotsi (Dave Palek) of Hancock, MI, and Stephanie and Matthew Ruotsi, both at home; her brothers, David Snell of Iron Mountain, MI; Daniel (Christine) Snell of Painesdale, MI; Dennis Snell of Baltic, MI; Dale Snell of Chassell, MI; Duane (Gina) Snell of Baltic, MI, Sister-in-laws, Pauline (David) Tuohimaa of Tapiola, MI; JoAnne Stimac of Dodgeville, MI; mother-in-law, Helmi Ruotsi of the Houghton County Medical Care Facility; along with a special aunt, Helen Snell of Redford, MI, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; her father-in-law, John Ruotsi; her twin brother and sister-in-law, Delbert (Judith) Snell and a sister Shirley Foster. A memorial service for Kristine will be held 6 PM Thursday April 22, at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Chassell with Rev. Ron Strobel to officiate. Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery of Houghton. Friends may call on Thursday April 22, 2010, at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Chassell from 2 pm until time of services.
