Obituary of Lillian Barnett Houghton Lillian M. Barnett, 89, a resident of Arbor Green Apts., Houghton, suddenly passed away Monday July 12, 2004, at her home following an apparant Heart Attack. She was born on October 14, 1914, in Dollar Bay, a daughter of the late Tom and Mary (Koski) Mattson. As a child she attended the Dollar Bay schools and was a graduate with the class of 1933. On January 10, 1942 she was united in marraige to Bernard Barnett and he preceded her in death on September 17, 1973. She was a member of the Finnish Apostolic Lutheran Church of Calumet, A.A.R.P. and a former member of the Garden City V.F.W. Auxilliary. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a nephew, and her brother Eino Mattson. Surviving are: 1 Sister: Hilma Olson a resident patient of the Apostolic Home for the Aged in Calumet 1 niece: Shirley Butler of Naosho, MO 2 Grand Nephews Funeral services for Lillian will be held at 2 P.M. on Friday July 16, 2004, at the Finnish Apostolic Lutheran Church of Calumet with Richard Eskola to officiate. Burial to be in Detroit Memorial Park West Cemetery of Detroit. Friends may call at the Church on Friday from 1 P.M. until time of services.
