Obituary of Lillian Heikkinen Boston Location Lillian E. Heikkinen, 84, a former resident of Boston Location passed away Sunday March 22, 2009, at the Cypress Manor Nursing Home in Hancock where she had been a resident patient for over the past six years. She was born on October 19, 1924, in Boston Location, a daughter of the late Anton and Ina (Jankala) Pelto. As a child Lillian attended the Cloverland and Calumet schools. In December of 1958, she was united in marriage to Raymond Heikkinen and he preceded her in death. Mrs. Heikkinen was employed at Bridgeman Russell, the Star Bakery and then at Vollwerth's Sausage Company for over 20 years until her retirement. Preceding her in death were her parents, her sisters; Ida Comina, Alma Rassio, Nelma Nelson, Hilja Murto, and Sophia Tormala and her brothers; Arthur, Raymond, and William. Surviving are: Her sister: Ruth (Clyde) Nikkinen of Toledo, OH Her brother: Wesley (Arlene) Pelto of Dollar Bay Several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
