Linda Moskwa

Obituary of Linda Moskwa Lansing/Ontonagon Linda Sue Moskwa, passed from this world on Sunday, August 3, 2008 with family at her side, while at the Sparrow Hospice Center, Lansing Michigan. She fought bravely for eight months after diagnosis of lung cancer. Linda was born at the Ontonagon Memorial Hospital on July 16, 1961, to Joseph and Betty (nee Johnson) Moskwa. A 1979 graduate from Ontonagon high school, she attended Northern Michigan University from 1979 to 1981 and then Michigan State University where she graduated in 1983 with a Psychology degree. She remained in Lansing area working at Lansing Community College for 17 years, leaving in 1999 to start a full time career in the reflexology and massage therapy. Linda was a giving person and shared her passion for a healthy living with all who knew her. She is survived by her father Joseph Moskwa of Ontonagon; a sister Debra and family of Three Rivers, Michigan and four brothers and their families, Steve of Mackinac Island, Jim of Ann Arbor, Rick of Red Wing, Minnesota and Dan of Goffstown, New Hampshire. And two special friends Monica Conklin and Felicia Mallory and their families of the Lansing area. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Betty who passed February 2006. Funeral arrangements are 12 noon on Thursday August 7th at Holy Family Catholic Church, Ontonagon, Michigan. Friends may gather prior to the service at 11 a.m., burial will be in the Holy Family Catholic Cemetery. A luncheon will follow the ceremony for family and friends.
