Obituary of Lorna Jurva Farmington Hills Lorna M. Jurva a resident of Farmington Hills and former Chassell resident passed away May 7, 2006, in Livonia following a lengthy illness. She was born in Onnela, MI, on November 27, 1928, and as a child she moved to the Chassell area with her family where she graduated from the Chassell Schools. Lorna had worked in the Chicago, IL area for 20 years as a Statistical Stenographer. Preceding her in death was 1 Sister: Ruth Patterson, 3 Brothers Melvin, Jack, and Sulo Alvar, and 1 Sister-in-law: Angie(Wife of Gerald). Surviving are: 8 Brothers and Sisters: William (Ada) Jurva, Weldon (Eva) Jurva, Paul Jurva, Roy (Ruth) Jurva, Gerald Jurva, Betty Jurva, Annabelle (Oliver) Kyyllonen, and Geraldine (Harley) Zierer, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Graveside services for Lorna will be held 1 P.M. this Friday May 12, 2006, in the Forest Hill Cemetery of Houghton.
