Obituary of Lucille Katherine Proulx PelkieLucille K. Proulx, 91, a resident of Pelkie, passed away Friday evening October 9, 2015, at the Houghton County Medical Care Facility in Hancock.She was born on June 22, 1924, in Bay County, MI, a daughter of the late Theodore and Rose (Pfenninger) Krieger. As a child, Lou attended the local schools.During World War II Lucille was employed as an accountant in a bakery business.In 1949, she was united in marriage to Clifford Proulx. The couple had resided in Lemont, IL, until moving to Lake Gogebic in 1980. On January 20, 1993, Clifford preceded Lou in death. Since 1994, she had made her home in Pelike.Mrs. Proulx was a member of Mission United Lutheran Church of Pelkie.
