Obituary of Lynn Marie Marinelli Hancock Lynn M. Marinelli, 58 a resident of Hancock passed away unexpectedly Thursday October 20, 2016, at her home. She was born on January 27, 1958, in Hancock, a daughter of the late August Marinelli and Mary (Hamel) Marinelli. Lynn was raised in Hancock by August and Gertrude (Rothenberger) Marinelli. She attended the Houghton Schools and was a graduate of the Houghton High School with the class of 1979. Lynn then attended Soumi College. Ms. Marinelli was united in marriage to Robert Voght and had two children. She then began seeing James P. Manninen who helped her raise her children. Lynn worked various odd jobs in the area such as painting and had also worked in the housekeeping department for the Best Western Comfort Inn until her health problems would not allow her to work any longer. Ms. Marinelli attended Gloria Dei Lutheran Church of Hancock and she was very active with the Hancock Community Garden program. She enjoyed caring for her grandchildren, cooking, and visiting with her family and friends. Preceding her in death was her son Robert J.
