Obituary of Margery Ann Meyers Fall Creek, WI Margery Ann Meyers of Fall Creek, Wisconsin passed away suddenly on Monday, November 19, 2012. She was born in Hancock, Michigan on April 25, 1941, the daughter of the late Martin and Marjorie O'Connor. She attended St. Ignatius Elementary School and graduated from Houghton High School in 1959. She attended Michigan Technological University and Northern Michigan University. Margery was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Robert Meyers; children, Jennifer (Robert) Butcher, Martin (Jeri Lynn) Meyers, Amy (Kenneth) Shear and Jill (Timothy) Bonk; grandchildren Emma and Sophia Butcher, Bryce, Makenzie, Logan, and Connor Meyers, Matthew, Nathan and Sarah Shear, Katheryn, William, Grace and Samuel Bonk; sister Maureen (Rick) Genel, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and many friends. For many years, Margery and her family lived in Hartland, Wisconsin. She loved books and worked at the Hartland Library. After moving to Fall Creek, she enjoyed volunteering at the Fall Creek Public Library and the Beaver Creek Reserve. A visitation will be held at the Plowe Funeral Home in Houghton, Michigan from 5-7pm on Friday, November 30, 2012. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Ignatius Catholic Church in Houghton, Michigan, Saturday, December 1st at 11 am. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials will be established in Margery's name at the Beaver Creek Reserve and the Fall Creek Public Library.
