Marlene Beaudoin

Calumet, Marlene M. Beaudoin, 40, a resident of Calumet, passed away Monday, August 16, 2021, from injuries received in an automobile accident. She was born on August 14, 1981, in Laurium a daughter of Lawrence and Gail (Hongisto) Beaudoin. Marlene was raised in Lake Linden and attended the Lake Linden Schools. For the past 20 years she has owned and operated her own daycare business from her home Marlenes Daycare. Ms. Beaudoin was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Calumet. She enjoyed being active outdoors, hiking and kayaking, and being with her children. Preceding her in death were her grandparents. Surviving are: Her children: Trevor (Abby Holcomb) Tarvis of Negaunee, Jacob (Karen) Tarvis of Calumet, Brandon Tarvis of Calumet, Gage (Shelby Olson) of Calumet, Tessa Tarvis of Calumet, Blake Tarvis of Calumet, Luke Tarvis of Calumet, Kyle Tarvis of Calumet, Dayne Tarvis of Calumet, Isaak Tarvis of Calumet Her grandchildren: Octavia, Letty and Keaton; Her beloved cat Stella; Her parents: Lawrence and Gail Beaudoin; Her sisters& brothers: Jennifer (Jeffrey) Collins of Daniel Island, SC, Richard (Jackie) Beaudoin of Crystal Falls, MI, Roger Beaudoin of North Dakota, Brian Beaudoin of North Dakota, April (Jared) Curto of Negaunee Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; Her special friends: Michelle and Aaron Jeffery, Amanda & Gregg Baril, Jim & Stacey Flood & Kayla Chevalier; All of the daycare families, she helped over the past 20 years. A Mass of Christian Burial for Marlene will be held 11:00 am Friday, August 20, 2021, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Calumet. Friends may call on Thursday, August 19, 2021, at the Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Hancock from 4 to 7:00 pm, where a parish prayer service will be held at 6:30 pm.
