Obituary of Martha Narhi Tamarack CityMartha E. Narhi, 78, a resident of Tamarack City, passed away Tuesday November 4, 2008, at the Marquette General Hospital where she had been a patient for the past 10 days. She was born on May 1, 1930, in Quincy Location a daughter of the late August and Betty (Fiske) Reini. Martha was a graduate of the Hancock High School.On September 17, 1960, she was united in marriage to Victor J. Narhi and he preceded her in death on June 9, 1996.Mrs. Narhi was employed with Payne's News Stand, the Star Bakery, and then with Vollwerth's Sausage Company for 27 years.Preceding her in death were her husband, her parents, 2 sisters; Saimie Bolan and Hilia Reini, and 3 brothers; William, Waino, and Arvid Reini.Surviving are: Her brother: Eino (Stella) Reini of Warren, MI Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousinsFuneral services for Martha will be held 1 pm Monday November 10, 2008, at the Memorial Chapel Home of Hancock with Rev. Jimalee Jones to officiate. Spring burial will be in the Lakeside Cemetery of Hancock. Friends may call on Monday November 10, 2008 from 11 am until time of services at the funeral home.
