Obituary of Martha Tronti Hancock Martha M. Tronti, 86, a resident of Lake View Manor in Hancock, and formerly of Trimountain, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2005, at the Marquette General Hospital in Marquette, where she was a patient for the past day. The former Martha Margaret Tikkanen was born on November 4, 1918, in Trimountain, a daughter of the late Waino and Eva (Leinonen) Tikkanen. She later resided in Tapiola, Hancock, and then lived back in Trimountain for most of her lifetime. Since 1992, she has made her home in Hancock. She had attended the former John A. Doelle School in Tapiola. She had worked at the former Houghton County Infimary and for the former St. Joseph's Hospital. Martha had attended the Hope Fellowship Church in Houghton, and was a former member of the Baltic Senior Citizens. Preceding her in death were her parents, 4 brothers; Charlie, Eino, Arnie, Reino and 1 sister; Mae Denny. Surviving are; 3 Sons; Robert Tronti of Dodgeville James (Sharon) Tronti of Trimountain Irving (Kathy) Tronti of Trimountain 6 Grandchildren & 4 Great Grandchildren 1 Sister; Mrs. Alma Nevins of Ontonagon Several nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 5, 2005, at 1 P.M. in the Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Hancock, with Pastor Paul Marin to officiate. Spring burial to be in the Lakeside Cemetery in Hancock. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 12 noon untill time of services.
