Obituary of Matthew E. Moyryla Boston Location Matthew E. Moyryla, 87, a summer resident of the Copper Country, passed away late Wednesday morning, December 7, 2005, at the Portage Health System Hospital, where he had been a patient since Monday evening. He was born on June 30, 1918, in Boston Location, a son of the late Oscar & Hilda (Waisanen) Moyryla, & attended the Franklin School. He made his home in Boston Location as a youth, later residing in Hazel Park. He spent his summers in Boston Location. Matt was employed by General Motors Corp. as a Machinist for Detroit Disel, until his retirement. He was a veteran of WWII, having served with the U.S. Navy Air Corp. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, & 1 sister. Surviving are: 1 Sister, Mrs. Helen Kuivanen of Calumet 1 Brother, Uno (Ellen) Moyryla of Boston Location Several nieces, nephews, & cousins. Funeral services will be held Saturday evening at 7 P.M. in the Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Hancock, with Paul Isaacson to officiate. Friend may call at the funeral home on Saturday evening form 6 P.M. until time of service. Spring burial will be in the veterans lot at the Lakeside Cemetery in Hancock.
