Obituary of Mayme Luttinen Dollar Bay Mrs. Mayme E. Luttinen, 89, a former resident of Dollar Bay, passed away Friday, February 25, 2005, at Our Lady of Mercy Convalescent Home in Hubbell, where she was a resident patient since December of 2002, previously she was a resident patient at Stillwater's Community Elders Home in Calumet. The former Mayme Kaurala was born on September 23, 1915, in Boston Location daughter of the late Gust and Mary (Peterson) Kaurala, and attended the Boston school. She later lived in Tamarack Location before making her home in Dollar Bay, where she resided for most of her lifetime. On June 7, 1941 she was united in marriage to Ferdinand Luttinen and he preceded her in death in 1978. Mrs. Luttinen was previously employed at the former St. Joseph's Hospital in Hancock. Mrs. Luttinen was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Dollar Bay. Surviving are: 1 son: Gerald Luttinen of Milwaukee, Wis. 1 Grand daughter: Karin Luttinen of West Allis, Wis. 2 Grandsons: Allan (Cheryl) Luttinen of Milwaukee, Wis. Kevin (Jamie) Luttinen of Greenfield, Wis. 3 Great Grandchildren Several nieces & nephews Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2005, at 2 P.M. in the Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Hancock, with Rev. Katrina Gallagher to officiate. Spring burial to be in the Lakeside Cemetery in Hancock. Friends may call from 1 P.M. until time of services at the funeral home on Wednesday.
